Question
I adopted a 4 1/2 yr old pug who had to have one of her rear legs amputed after a surgery gone bad that was done to correct a problem with her hips .
The problems were caused because her original owners kept her crated her whole life and her hips were very weak. She has been on prescriptions since the surgery last month but I would like to get her on natural supplements instead. What could help her stave off future hip problems/

First I want to say thank you for adopting your pug and giving her a life beyond the crate.
I like the Hill's Science Diet Simple Essentials Mobility Dog treats. You can buy them online and they're reasonably priced. My dog is 90 pounds and we give her 3 treats per day. She also has a prescription med. But my dog needs both, and she's 13 years old. A pug is much smaller, so you'll need to adjust the dosage.
